Career Experience

Currently, I'm working as a professor in a major public university. I have more than 10 years of experience teaching undergrads and more than 6 years of experience mentoring undergrad and master students. In the weekend, I volunteer to teach Mandarin in County Library for younger kids (5~12 years old). I also have experience teaching and demonstrating STEM subjects and science experiments for younger kids.

I Love Tutoring Because

I'm always amazed at the way younger kids learn new things, which is completely different from the teens and adults. I love to ignite those sparkles in young thinkers and see how they explore. As for the bigger learners, I'd like to help them to understand the "why" and "how" from their questions rather than providing quick answers; in this way they can figure out the questions by themselves in the tests.
