I am group general counsel for the a large western health system and was formerly chief legal officer for two community hospitals, chief legal counsel at a small faith-based health system, and associate general counsel for a government healthcare contractor. In addition, in private practice, I was a trial attorney defending physicians and attorneys in malpractice cases, after serving as a judicial clerk with a federal judge. I have also taught courses on the subjects of legal ethics, business law, business ethics, e-business, and enterprise risk for several universities and colleges.
