Career Experience
I worked three years for a college and career readiness program which specialized in college preparation and tutoring students on subjects of their choosing. I tutored an average group of ten students in the subjects of Pre-Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-calculus, and Calculus AB, helping them solve homework and test problems.
I Love Tutoring Because
being a previous math tutor, while finishing my college degree, really taught me to understand each topic I may have forgotten in grade school. While tutoring, I learned no two people were ever the same, meaning they did not learn the same way. It taught me the different ways each person can look at a problem, and it was my job to help them understand how to solve the problem in their own way while still reaching for the same solution.
