Career Experience

Since getting my degree in education, I have worked as a substitute teacher, an elementary/middle grades classroom teacher, and a private tutor for students of many different ages. I have also worked with kids in church activities for more than twenty years and given electronic keyboard lessons at a music store.

I Love Tutoring Because

One-on-one instruction is my favorite way to teach! :) It is a joy to watch a motivated student accomplish something he or she was unsure about in the beginning. And it is a privilege to play a part in the future success of so many different students by working with them one person at a time. (Note: The classroom version I use is a text chat one which works best for students who are comfortable with typing in the chat box.)
