With degree programs in the worlds of music and recording, film and television, games, tech, design, and sports media, Full Sail University is dedicated to students who want more than the status quo. Our career-focused approach prepares students with real-world industry experience and the creative problem-solving skills they need to follow their dreams.
We're not your average university. Our online and on-campus degree programs are accelerated, courses are project-based, and curriculum is hands-on. That means students can start and finish school faster, build a strong portfolio, and learn industry skills from professors with extensive, up-to-date experience in their field.
Located in sunny Winter Park, Florida, Full Sail was founded in 1979. Throughout our history, Full Sail has received accolades including awards for top schools in game design, game development, music, film, graphic design, and animation, and has been named "School/College of the Year" by FAPSC. Full Sail's graduates have earned credits that include work on Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, ADDY, MTV Video Music Award, and The Game Awards nominated and winning projects.

Academic Programs
Our accelerated degree programs contain more credit hours per month, allowing students to graduate in approximately half the time of a traditional bachelor's program. That means student schedules are full-time, round-the-clock, which also prepares them for the 24/7 nature of a fast-paced industry.
Courses are designed in a specific order, so that instructors understand where students are in their educational journey and students can avoid class registration stress.
Students learn more than just theory at Full Sail. They learn to do and to create with industry-standard methods and equipment. Along the way, students build polished, professional portfolios with projects that demonstrate their real-world experience in their field, like creating a short film, a video game, music, 3D art, or a cybersecurity plan.
