Rhode Island public buses include Bryant on Route #50 from Providence. Bryant Transit Authority is a van that provides transportation to nearby shopping centers, as well as to the train and bus stations, and the airport. Students may also take taxis to their destinations. Closest airport is T.F. Green in Warwick which is 25 minutes away. Closest Amtrak station is in Providence, 12 miles away.

We're looking for applicants with strong academic preparation who are eager to tackle the world's challenges. Students admitted to Bryant also participated in extracurricular activities and submitted strong letters of recommendation.
Our students come to us with a diversity of strengths and talents. That's why we offer admission interviews and test—optional alternatives. Bryant has been Standardized Test optional for more than a decade and test optional applicants receive the same consideration for admission, merit scholarships, and the Honors Program as students who submit SAT and/or ACT scores.
Bryant offers several options to apply for admission. Early applications are accepted under Early Decision 1, Early Action, and Early Decision 2 programs. Students can enroll in the accelerated dual-degree program in the fall of their first year to complete their undergraduate program in three years, before moving straight into Bryant's One-year MBA program—allowing them to earn both a bachelor's and MBA degree in just four years.

Bryant University in Rhode Island prides itself on doing things differently, and they stand by that by encouraging an integrated curriculum combining business and liberal arts fields. It's a tact that students don't seem to mind, citing "phenomenal job placement numbers." One student claims "it is very hard to not get a job within six months of graduating." That could be due, in part, to the fact that the school "excels in its ability to provide hands-on academic experiences" that "ensure all students are ready for what the real world will be like." One such initiative is the first-year Bryant IDEA Program, which is "a three-day intensive program that teaches design thinking." Those opportunities don't end on Bryant's campus, though, as students can also take advantage of programs like the one-to-two-week Sophomore International Experience abroad.
Regardless of where Bryant's students are, the "academic experience is always focused on learning rather than getting a grade." and everyone here is "very willing to offer extra help when it is needed," making it "hard [for a student] to fall through the cracks." To that end, faculty here are "professionals in their industry" and are "quite open...about their realworld experiences." Their words "bring great insight into various industries" and "allow students to get in touch with the latest information so they can catch up with the current [trends] in the business world." This also comes with the open style of teaching many classes employ, "which allows for a dialogue and expansion of thoughts and ideas in the classroom." That dialogue also reaches beyond the classroom thanks to an "incredible network of alumni who genuinely care and want to get Bryant students jobs."

This leads to "an air of professionalism here," although students can "be labeled as overinvolved" as they do what they can to gain experience and stand out. It's not hard for students to recognize each other at Bryant, though, as it's a "relatively small school in land and in numbers." For Bryant Bulldogs, weekdays "are filled with class, homework, and group projects," so students are "always busy with group meetings." But when they're not in a meeting or in class, students "normally sit and do homework by the pond-if it is nice out." When they're ready to step away from their studies, sports offer an engaging distraction: "Everyone goes to...games...dressed in black and gold." Outside of intramurals, "various clubs attract a lot of students," with an assortment of options ranging from those that "promote mental health awareness [to those] that play video games every Friday night." On weekends, students will often "take a trip to Providence for dinner or go on a trip with the Student Programming Board to go bowling, to [see] a play, or to [watch] a Boston sports game." Whatever your tastes may be, this "extremely welcoming" community has the "perfect balance of academics, recreation, and extracurricular activities."
